I’m so glad The Artist won. It’s a phenomenal movie and I’m so glad to have caught it on opening day with fifteen other people in the theater and watched it blossom into the Best Picture winner. It’s a wonderful day for cinema when a movie like that can win at that level.

All I’m saying is, this dog better get a Best Supporting Actor nomination or I give up.
I’m giving up the whole ‘English bulldog on a skateboard’ thing because of The Artist and I now want a Jack Russell Terrier; specifically a life-saving one who pulls the protagonist out of spiraling depression and/or causes Bérénice Bejo to show up at my door.
No, but really, go and see The Artist. It’s the greatest movie.
