People are so jaded by travel now. Only a couple of hundred years ago people lived and died in a five mile radius, if that. You pretty much were brought up in a place and died there and people were fucking crazy because they never went anywhere. That’s why people thought the Earth was flat. That’s why some people might vote Tea Party. They think all they know is all there is. It warps the mind. Jesus christ, people. Get on a plane. Go somewhere. Meet people from everywhere. Go everywhere.
