for some strange reason i missed every audition on saturday. due to bad planning, i think, but i’m ready to blame it on everyone except myself until i actually grow up as a person and that won’t be for a little bit longer, maybe 2010.

have one more tomorrow for Subaru where they use THE BACK OF MY HEAD man oh man gotta love this town.

i stand by my version of the crowd story. i even went so far as to totally give up and start playing Ramones remixes. remixes. just because i’d forgotten what they’d sounded like and wanted to hear them because, fuck it, its not like anyone was giving two shits. i could have played CHET ATKINS and have gotten away with it.

in terms of nightlife i’m not sure i ever want to go out west of the 101 ever again. shit just gets old after a while. maybe i read Bright Lights Big City too young? possibly. mostly just jaded.

1. i am “the first person to recognize Lil Wayne as he is lead to the police cars”. this meant i got to point at him and start clapping before anyone else did this. i’m wearing my aviators in this shot.
2. i am a bank robber! look for the bank robber with emo bangs +/ the one trying to keep his bottle of water inside his pants! they recreated one of the scenes from The Inside Man. i’m convinced i’m Clive Owen. but seriously, look for the bank robber with the emo bangs and converse. that would be me. even though we all had to wear the same thing i have a HUGE head and my bandana kept slipping.
3. a “concerned citizen”, on his phone, talking to “the media”. 

thats right folks. i did not get to sip sizzurp or anything of that ilk but i did get a vague head-nod and a ‘yo’. it was pretty rad getting singled out twice by the director, i will say that. maybe i’ll start making random appearances in rap videos a la Puff Daddy.
